A liberal is necessarily a libertarian. A libertarian is not necessarily a liberal. It is quite possible to be consistently a libertarian. I believe I am. Since we are all sinners, it is impossible to be consistently liberal. Libertarianism is in the head. Liberalism is felt in the gut.
